Introduction
These house rules apply to all easyStorage sites.
The rules apply to all tenants, visitors and any other persons who gain access to the site or the rented storage space through the tenant
These rules apply in addition to the tenancy agreement and the general terms and conditions of easyStorage. By entering into the tenancy agreement and using the site and the storage space, the tenant agrees to these house rules.

General use of the site
1. The tenant uses the site and the storage space carefully, tidily and safely.
2. The tenant does not cause any nuisance, disturbance, contamination or unsafe situations for easyStorage, other tenants, visitors or local residents.
3. The tenant always follows reasonable instructions given by easyStorage and by any assistants engaged by easyStorage.
4. The site and the storage space may only be used for permitted storage and for activities directly related to it, such as loading and unloading.
5. The site or storage space may not be used for any other purpose, such as living, staying overnight, working, holding meetings, carrying out repairs, manufacturing or running a business from the site, unless easyStorage has given prior written permission.

Use of the storage space
1. The storage space may only be used for storing permitted goods.
2. The tenant keeps the storage space clean, dry and in good condition.
3. Goods must be placed safely and in an orderly manner, so that no damage, leakage, odour, pests, risk of collapse or other nuisance arises.
4. The tenant may only use the storage space that easyStorage has rented to them.
5. It is not permitted to take another storage space into use without permission from easyStorage.

Prohibited goods and prohibited use
1. It is not permitted to store or keep goods that are prohibited, dangerous or a source of nuisance in or near the storage space, on the site or in communal areas.
2. These include, in any event:
- illegal goods;
- weapons, ammunition and explosives;
- drugs or drug-related goods;
- flammable, combustible, explosive, toxic or otherwise hazardous substances;
- gas cylinders or other pressure vessels;
- perishable items, food or other goods that may cause odour or pests;
- live animals;
- waste materials;
- stolen goods;
- any other goods that, in the opinion of easyStorage, pose a risk to safety, health or the site.
3. Smoking and open flames are prohibited in and around the site, in the storage space and in all communal areas.
4. It is prohibited to carry out any activities that may cause a fire hazard, damage or a safety risk.

Access and safety
1. The tenant may only enter the site in accordance with the applicable access rules and opening hours of
easyStorage.

2. The tenant ensures that doors, gates, access points and other facilities are properly closed after use.
3. Emergency doors, emergency facilities and safety facilities may only be used in a genuine emergency.
4. It is not permitted to deliberately or culpably activate, block, bypass or otherwise misuse alarm, security

5. The tenant does not let in any strangers and does not grant access to third parties who are not entitled to it.
6. Suspicious, unsafe or harmful situations must be reported to easyStorage immediately.

Communal areas and site equipment
1. Corridors, loading and unloading areas and other communal areas must remain clear and tidy.
2. It is not permitted to leave goods, waste, packaging material or other items outside the rented storage space.
3. Trolleys, cleaning equipment and other site equipment must be returned or hung back tidily in their designated place immediately after use.
4. The tenant uses easyStorage's equipment and facilities with care.

Lock and departure
1. The tenant is responsible for their own lock on the storage space, unless easyStorage has determined otherwise in writing.
2. At the end of the tenancy, the storage space must be handed over completely empty, clean and in good condition.
3. On departure, the tenant's own lock must be removed immediately.

Damage, faults and duty to report
1. The tenant reports any damage, defects, faults, leaks or other incidents to easyStorage immediately.
2. The tenant is responsible for damage caused by themselves, their visitors, assistants or third parties who have gained access through them, to the extent permitted by law, the agreement and the terms and conditions.
3. In the event of unsafe or undesirable situations, easyStorage may take immediate measures to protect the safety, accessibility and order on the site.

Insurance and responsibility
1. The tenant remains responsible for the stored goods themselves.
2. The tenant arranges appropriate insurance for their goods themselves, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
